Congratulations Ke$ha and Susan Boyle!
This week marks the beginning of 2010 and what a surprise we see on the charts.
Who would have thought Susan Boyle, a frumpy reality star, would be making such world history on album sales charts? Not me, but I love it and am glad she is proving the corporate record industry a joke! People still love good music and it doesn't have to come from an 18 year-old mess.
Speaking of hot messes, Ke$ha is making waves everywhere. Her song Tik Tok is becoming a phenomenon and stealing number one spots around the world and on iTunes!
Not only is new pop star Ke$ha beating out Lady Gaga at a time when Gaga's ego and record company really need the number one spot for Bad Romance and her album's publicity, but she is also confirming dance music is the Popular music of our day.
BTW, Lady Gaga's FAME MONSTER CD is terrible. Only a couple of good tracks on it and a big disappointment for me. I will give a full review soon. All I will say for now is that Lady Gaga is no Madonna.
Congrats Miss Ke$ha! You deserve this success and I personally LOVE Tik Tok! Read her Wikipedia page...girl's been at it for a long time. I look forward to seeing what else she's got. Time for some new blood on the scene.
